Dat Phuong ultra-clear glass factory covers an area of 12,18 hectares, with a total investment of VND 2.000 billion. It is expected to commence operations in the second quarter of 2027, with an initial production capacity of 400 tons per day, which is equivalent to 19.2 million square meters of glass products annually. The second phase of the project aims to increase production capacity to 1.000 – 1.200 tons per day.
Dat Phuong’s factory produces ultra-clear glass with thickness ranging from 1.8mm to 8mm. This type of glass is widely applied in architecture, interior design, glass processing, especially in the production for solar panels. This ultra-clear glass offers exceptional transparency and maximum natural light transmission while maintaining structural integrity, making it an essential material for enhancing the efficiency of solar panels. This aligns with the global shift toward renewable energy sources.

Dat Phuong ultra-clear glass factory is equipped with two advanced production lines: one for primary glass production and another for deep processing. These lines meet strict global market standards. Utilizing advanced and environmentally friendly technology, Dat Phuong aims to deliver "ultra-clear glass with global quality," targeting demanding markets such as the United States and Europe.
According to Business Research Insights, the global ultra-clear glass market is anticipated to witness consistent growth, starting from USD 0,94 billion in 2024, reaching USD 1 billion in 2025, and climbing to USD 1,6 billion by 2033, at a steady CAGR of 6%. Capitalizing on this trend, Dat Phuong focuses on leveraging domestic raw materials to manufacture glass for the solar energy industry, with the goal of increasing exports and enhancing economic value.
City leaders, investors, and technology supplier participate in the groundbreaking ceremony for the Dat Phuong ultra-clear glass factory.
A representative of Dat Phuong Group emphasized that the factory will not only produce internationally standardized ultra-clear glass but also generate significant economic and social benefits. Once operational, the project is expected to create stable employment for approximately 400 local workers, contribute about VND 140 billion per year to the state budget, and stimulate regional economic and social development.
The groundbreaking of the first ultra-clear glass factory in Hue city marks a significant milestone in Dat Phuong Group’s strategic direction. It also contributes to the advancement of green energy and the global shift toward renewable energy. Dat Phuong Glass JSC, the group’s newly established subsidiary, will be responsible for executing and operating the factory, bringing the group’s strategic goals in the glass industry to fruition.
