Dat Phuong Group has contributed 200 million Vietnamese dong to the program “Joining Hands to Support the Removal of Temporary Houses for Poor Households in Thua Thien Hue Province” as soon as the meaningful program was launched by the province.
This program aims to reduce the poverty rate in Thua Thien Hue province, contributing to the successful achievement of the goal to reduce the provincial poverty rate to 1.84% by 2025. By the end of 2023, it is intended to meet the conditions for A Luoi district to escape from being among the 74 national poor districts. Dat Phuong Group aspires to contribute its part in this journey by supporting the construction and renovation of houses for families living in temporary shelters.
On the journey of value creation, alongside our concentrated investment and business activities, community-driven programs have always been a focal point and received significant attention from Dat Phuong Group in various localities. Thua Thien Hue is one of the provinces with a long-standing history of business investment activities for our enterprise.
We've had numerous opportunities to understand the lives of the local people, witnessing and empathizing with the hardships they face. The poverty rate in A Luoi district by the end of 2023 remains high, with a rate of 24.4% (3,485 households); near-poor households at 15.65% (2,253 households); 11 communes have poverty rates above 25%, and there are still 1,752 temporary houses in need of support. This is a matter that the local Party, government, and residents of the entire district, as well as Thua Thien Hue province, are determinedly and tirelessly striving to address.
