Casamia Balanca Hoi An receives National Urban Planning Award 2022 Silver

The National Urban Planning Award was initiated by the Vietnamese Urban Planning and Development Association (VUPA) to enhance the role and position of urban planning and development management. This award aims to honor organizations, individuals, and businesses that have made remarkable contributions to the field of urban planning, development, and rural settlement in Vietnam. 

The Casamia project by Dat Phuong Group is developed in collaboration with EnCity with the desire to create a balanced urban area between ecology, heritage conservation, and value enhancement. It is located at the confluence of the Truong Giang, Thu Bon, and Co Co rivers, facing the Cua Dai Bay, adjacent to the Seven Acres Biosphere Reserve, and located on the coastal road of the Central region, in the heritage city of Hoi An. 

The owner's challenge for the planning consultant was to maximize the preservation of the existing natural landscape, combining contemporary values based on Hoi An's strict architectural standards. The project is not only an ecological urban area with the highest value for the community but also a new destination for Hoi An. The planning of Casamia Balanca is carefully calculated, meticulous, and consistent with the language of nature: the river, water surface, coconut trees, paper flowers, and the rising and falling architecture of Hoi An's roofs are all aimed at preserving the purest existing beauty, creating a living space in harmony with nature, with an infinite view. 

Cultural and architectural values are preserved, traditional beauty is retained, combined with modern values. This location is not only a worth-living urban area, but also a destination that connects natural, cultural, and ecological experiences around; development of the night-time economy, thereby extending the length of stay for tourists when coming to the heritage city. 

Providing a natural living space in harmony with the heart of Hoi An is what Casamia Balanca Hoi An is all about. It is a unique green urban area that brings the highest value, attractive destination, and a place to store and value assets with long-term vision for future generations.
