With a total length of 2.6 kilometers and a scale of six lanes (four motorized lanes and two mixed-use lanes), the bridge spans the Dong Nai River, linking Nhon Trach District (Dong Nai Province) with Thu Duc City (Ho Chi Minh City). The project carries a total investment of VND 6,955 billion and is considered a crucial "link" in the formation of Ring Road 3 – a strategic traffic corridor connecting Ho Chi Minh City with neighboring provinces such as Dong Nai, Binh Duong, and Long An.
The operation of Nhon Trach Bridge will help shorten travel time between Dong Nai and Ho Chi Minh City and ease congestion on existing routes such as the HCMC–Long Thanh–Dau Giay Expressway and National Highway 51. Additionally, the project is expected to spark new momentum for urbanization and industrial development in the Nhon Trach area – a strategic satellite urban zone in the east of Ho Chi Minh City.
As the main contractor for Package CW1 – the construction of Nhon Trach Bridge – Dat Phuong Group was responsible for constructing the main piers in the middle of the river, one of the project’s most technically demanding components. This area was directly affected by challenging factors such as complex terrain, geological conditions, strong currents, and difficult construction conditions.
Leveraging extensive experience from a series of river and sea-crossing projects across the country, Dat Phuong mobilized over 100 personnel, organized continuous three-shift construction days, and optimized technical operations to ensure progress, quality, and safety in line with the investor’s requirements.
The completion and early opening of Nhon Trach Bridge, in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam, not only marks a key milestone for the project but also serves as a strong testament to the capacity, credibility, and sense of responsibility of Dat Phuong Group in contributing to the country’s large-scale and nationally significant infrastructure works.
