Mobilizing Resources and Standing Alongside the Community

Over more than two decades of development, Dat Phuong Group has expanded its operations from construction into energy, real estate, hospitality and resorts, and industrial manufacturing. Alongside its business activities, the Group has consistently allocated resources to community initiatives in social welfare, education, healthcare and environmental protection.

Providing stable housing and improving essential community infrastructure have been longstanding priorities. Dat Phuong has contributed more than VND 10 billion to efforts to eliminate temporary and dilapidated housing in Quang Nam and Da Nang. The Group has also participated in building and donating Dai Doan Ket (Great Solidarity) houses and homes for disadvantaged households and policy-beneficiary families in various localities. In addition, the Group’s Youth Union members have directly contributed to the construction and handover of rural roads in Dien Bien and Lai Chau, helping improve travel conditions for residents in mountainous areas.

In response to damage caused by storms and floods, Dat Phuong has proactively coordinated with Vietnam Fatherland Front organizations at various levels to deliver relief assistance across numerous provinces and cities nationwide. Beyond emergency aid, the Group has continued to support communities during recovery, providing warm blankets, food, essential supplies and learning equipment, while helping students in flood-affected areas resume their education as soon as possible in localities including Tuyen Quang, Ha Giang, Hue and Da Nang.

In education and digital transformation, the Group has organized scholarship programs, donated health insurance cards, and funded training and research initiatives for universities and disadvantaged students in Hue, Quang Nam, Da Nang and Quang Ngai. These efforts have been complemented by the provision of technological equipment to local government authorities.

Dat Phuong also maintains regular programs to express gratitude and support social welfare in the areas where it operates. These include donating rice and Lunar New Year gifts to communities in remote and disadvantaged areas, as well as activities honoring and supporting those who have contributed to the nation. Together, these initiatives foster lasting ties between the Group, local communities and authorities.

From Community Support to Long-Term Value Creation

Dat Phuong’s social responsibility initiatives are gradually expanding toward longer-term goals. A notable example is the “1 Billion Green” program, under which the Group has committed VND 1 billion for the 2026–2030 period to forest regeneration and ecosystem restoration in the Cu Lao Cham–Hoi An World Biosphere Reserve, with a target of planting at least 25,000 trees. The initiative reflects the Group’s commitment to supporting nature conservation and safeguarding ecological resources for future generations.

The Group’s community-oriented approach is also being integrated into its core business activities. In the Da Nang–Hoi An area, the social housing project within the Con Tien Urban Area, with an estimated investment of VND 700 billion and a planned scale of 684 apartments, demonstrates Dat Phuong’s proactive collaboration with local authorities in addressing housing needs and contributing to the city’s social welfare objectives. Meanwhile, ensuring occupational safety, providing healthcare and improving the well-being of employees remain key priorities in the Group’s responsible development strategy.

Behind these initiatives is the collective effort of companies across the Dat Phuong ecosystem, together with the Trade Union, Youth Union and employees. This coordinated approach enables resources to be mobilized promptly, initiatives to be implemented across a broad range of communities, and positive values to reach more people.

For Dat Phuong, “Steadfastly Creating Value” is more than a business philosophy; it is a long-term commitment to standing alongside communities and society. The recognition from the VFF Central Committee is a source of pride and further motivation for Dat Phuong Group and its ecosystem to continue pursuing practical initiatives that align business interests with the sustainable development of the communities they serve.
