On September 29, 2023, in Nam Dinh, the ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of Day River Crossing Bridge linking Ninh Binh and Nam Dinh provinces was successfully held. The ceremony was attended by leaders of central ministries, representatives of Nam Dinh and Ninh Binh provinces, the investor, design consultants, supervisory consultants, construction contractors, and numerous local residents living nearby the project area.
The project of building the Day River Crossing Bridge linking Ninh Binh and Nam Dinh provinces is a part of the Ninh Binh - Nam Dinh - Thai Binh - Hai Phong highway with a total length of about 2 km and 4 lanes. The starting point is located in Khanh Cuong commune, Yen Khanh district, Ninh Binh province, and the ending point is in Nghia Thai commune, Nghia Hung district, Nam Dinh province with a total investment of VND 1,450 billion. The project is aimed at connecting important transportation routes of Ninh Binh and Nam Dinh provinces, enhancing regional connectivity, and promoting regional linkage in the Red River Delta area.
At the ceremony, the representative of Dat Phuong Group committed to vigorously implementing the construction, ensuring compliance with or exceeding the contracted schedule signed with the Investor, and ensuring technical, aesthetic, safety, and quality standards of the project.
The project of the Day River Crossing Bridge linking Ninh Binh and Nam Dinh provinces continues to extend the list of bridges worth more than VND 1,000 billion throughout the S-shaped land of Dat Phuong with the role of the main construction contractor.
